Request 1: Cookie recipes.
Request 2: MCU fic - Maria Hill/Steve Rogers, love on the run, keeping it quiet, friends-to-lovers.
Request 3: A playlist (spotify, youtube) of music for a story that's got a lot of character conflict - not great, enormous heroic battles, but scene with a lot of tension in them.
Request 4: Icons of: Maria Hill (MCU), Dex Parios (Stumptown), Gwen (Merlin BBC), Ziva David (NCIS), Mako Mori (Pacific Rim)
Request 5: Any fic/story/fill that fits my fandom stocking 2018 requests.
Additional Information:
For an idea of things I like in fic, here's my dear fic-writer letter collection over the years of exchanges. Fandoms include MCU, Stargate Atlantis, Stargate SG1, Pacific Rim, Merlin BBC, Harry Potter, Sanctuary (TV), Justice League (cartoons and general DC universe), Buffy & Angel, Firefly, NCIS, Jupiter Ascending, and I'm trying to get into Stumptown, but it's been so long since I followed a show that it's really difficult to get into watching them again!
I'd love new DW friends - my journal is mostly RL stuff - links and articles, musings on gardening, life, etc. And occasionally rants or blurtys, with a little bit of fandom stuff here and there when I do it. Feel free to subscribe and I'll subscribe back.

Date: 2019-12-24 04:49 pm (UTC)¾ cup sugar
1½ sticks unsalted butter, softened
1 whole egg
¼ cup molasses
2 cups flour, sifted
2 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 tablespoon allspice
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp black pepper
¼ cup sugar to roll dough in
Cream the sugar and butter until fluffy. Beat in the egg and then add the molasses.
Combine the flour with the other dry ingredients, add to dough and mix well.
Form dough into 1 inch balls and roll in additional sugar. Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet.
Freeze for 30-60 minutes to minimise spreading. (These cookies spread a LOT when cooking and I found the only way to end up with separate cookies and not one giant solid sheet of cookie with a few holes was to freeze them on the baking sheet and put them in the oven frozen so that the outside forms a crust before they start to spread too far.)
Bake in a preheated oven at 350F for 12 to 15 minutes until set.
