Request 1: fic or art for Jonnathan Strange and Mr Norrell. I’m especially interested in the Aurate Magicians, and the early years of the Raven King’s reign in Northern England. I love the whole implied character arc in the book with John Uskglass where the humanity of his subjects kind of...rubs off on him after spending enough time amongst them? Honestly, it’s one of my favorite tropes and I’d be fascinated to see that period of adjustment explored, along with any of the inevitable culture clash between England and Faerie, either from the perspective of the Raven King himself, or from his new human couriers.
Anything set during or after Strange and Norrell’s own time period would be awesome as well. I really love Childermass, especially his relationship with Vinculus, so anything playing with that would be really cool! Maybe something after the events of the book, as the two of them adventure trying to figure out how to read Vinculus? (Maybe even get Segundus in on the action? I do ship Childermass/Segundus, so that could be cool…>.>) Strange and Norrell’s Post-Book adventures though Faerie would also be amazing!^^
I also love worldbuilding fic and I’d just love to see more of the effects of English magic on history.Honestly, I’m just here for Isaac Newton: Argentine Magician. Give me that and I will love you forever
Request 2: Silmarillion fic or Art. I love the entire House of Fëanor and just some really good family fluff with them would be awesome. Bonus points for focus on less commonly portrayed relationships between the brothers. Caranthir and Maglor having a particular connection and understanding in a sort of “music soothes the savage beast” sort of way is an idea I find particularly compelling, as is the relationship between Maedhros and Curufin, with the two of them being (in my mind, at least) the brothers who feel the weight of their father’s legacy the most, Maedhros as Heir and Curufin as the favored son.
Request 3: I’d love to see some Harry Potter fanworks focused on Sirius. Maybe some angsty, Dramatic stuff involving his relationship with his family (especially Regulus)? Or how about something about him getting up to absolutely insane and stupid adventures with the Marauders? Even stuff focusing on his time in Azkaban and how that changed him. Fic, Art, Headcanons, and Meta? I love it all! My only stipulation here is that I would prefer anything made for this request to be Gen-focused.

Date: 2019-12-28 10:38 pm (UTC)He burned with resentment at the memory of Regulus crouching by Kreacher’s side, comforting the house-elf after Sirius had kicked the disgusting sneak down the stairs. Couldn’t Reg see that Kreacher was a horrid, cowardly little spy, always prowling around after Sirius to try and catch him doing something wrong? Watching Sirius so he could run back to the mistress of the house and tattle-tale, then stand by smirking with satisfaction as Mother punished Sirius?
Being kind to Kreacher just encouraged this loathsome behaviour!
