Request 1: Mad Max: Fury Road art with the wives and/or war boys, or recs for that. I'd love a bunch of possibilities - like, wife/wife pairings, Capable/Nux, OCs, new outfits, Furiosa in her war boy days, bright colours, characters reacting to rainfall, Vuvalini AUs, setting-change AUs.

Request 2: Stranger Things ficlets or art about Robin or Billy/Max.
- Robin being brought up to speed on, or recovering from, the supernatural nonsense she just started learning about. Especially featuring other members of the Scoops Troop.
- Billy/Max. How they got to the increased closeness and trust in season 3, especially if there's remaining dysfunction in the relationship but it works better for them; werewolf AU; cuddle pollen; recovery post-s3. I'm cool with the attraction being unstated or repressed or vibes like that.

Request 3: MCU: Guardians of the Galaxy. I'd love any art/fic/vid/recs/poems about Mantis post-Volume 2. Connecting with the Guardians and Kraglin, adventures, learning more about herself/her species, recovering from Ego, meeting new people, AUs... DNW: anything drawing from Endgame.

Request 4: Art that feels worldbuildy, or recs for that. Any canon or original art goes. I'm thinking of things like environments being portrayed in some detail (the insides of rooms, landscapes, blueprints), glimpses into daily life, a look at unusual body parts (for aliens or monsters, or something like how Bucky Barnes's metal arm attaches to him)...

Additional Information: DNW rape as a focus. It's fine for mention in a backstory way, though, especially for Fury Road.

"Okay, so you stole a car while you were being chased by wild dogs --" Robin began when she could get a word in edgewise.

She was drowned out by a babble of kids' voices. "No, no, no! The dogs were at the house --"

"-- in the tunnels --"

"-- can NOT drive to save her life, honestly, it's a good thing we weren't all killed --"

"DEMO. Dogs," Dusty enunciated clearly. "Can we just call them by their right name, please. In honor of Dart's memory, if you don’t mind!"

"It's not their right name, dude," Lucas said. "That's just what you call them."

"Who's Dart?" Robin asked, though even as the words left her mouth she had a feeling it was a mistake, and she was right.

"Dustin's creepy little friend, that's who --"

"Dart is not creepy! Dart saved our lives!"

"Dart saved our lives by not eating us, dude, and that is such a low bar --"

Robin gave up on ever understanding any of this, and took a sip of cocoa. She was wrapped in blankets on Steve's couch, surrounded by eighth graders who were earnestly trying to explain everything that had happened in this town in the last few years. On the one hand, certain things about living in Hawkins made so much more sense now. This was offset by the fact that she was now considerably more confused about a lot of things she hadn't been confused about before.

"Popcorn!" Steve announced, coming back from the kitchen with two huge bowls, and the kids stopped trying to tell her about Dart (who she was still terribly confused about; was it a missing member of their group? Dustin's cat?) and started clamoring for popcorn.

After distributing the bowls, Steve plunked down on the couch beside Robin. "Did they explain?" he asked.

"We told her everything!" Mike said.

"They told me a lot of things," Robin said, somewhat helplessly.

Steve kicked Dustin in the small of the back with his sock-clad foot. "I told you little jerks to explain."

"Ow! Steve! We did! Come on, Robin, back us up here. What were we just talking about?"

"Um ..." Robin tried to pull it all together. "It was something about how your cat ate your mom, I think? Really sorry, by the way; that's terrible."

"No!" and "Steve!" several voices wailed.

"Okay, okay, I got this." Steve turned to Robin. "It all started on a dark and stormy night --"

"You're really bad at this," Erica said. She was nestled in a blanket pile on the opposite couch and for the most part had been sitting out the chatter.

"Shut up! If you're so good at this, you tell her."

"I'm just as confused as she is," Erica said. "You and your nerd friends are the worst, Lucas. Were you going to tell us about this before we were all eaten by wild dogs or what?"

"DEMO. DOGS."

"Nerds," Erica said, and pulled the blanket over her head.

On the one hand, certain things about living in Hawkins made so much more sense now. This was offset by the fact that she was now considerably more confused about a lot of things she hadn't been confused about before.
This is amazing to contemplate because I kind of forgot how publicly weird some of the stuff in Hawkins got. Will's funeral and return, the middle school blowing up, sudden pumpkin plague, a random little girl being put up on posters as a possible spy... Poor Robin. Poor Hawkins residents!

I love that Steve came in sounding like he was expecting the problem with how the Party explains things. He must know all too well. And the attitude about Dart is sort of adorable, what with no one making it clear it was a slavering monster pet. It feels kinda like respecting Dustin's feelings about it despite everything. Erica makes the real point about all the secrecy!

I have some Mantis fic recs for you! Apologies if you've seen these already, but I enjoyed them all a lot.

Mantis Prays to Oregon by sunkelles. For a while, Mantis is Ego's daughter. Then she isn't.
Mantis + Guardians gen, with pre-Mantis/Nebula vibes. 3k. Builds on the idea that Mantis was one of Ego's biological children, too, and after GotG2, she tries to figure out how to be siblings with Peter.

Ripening by inlovewithnight. There was no reason for Mantis to go with her. Staying with the others made much more sense; it would be logical, it would be safer. Mantis went with her anyway.
Mantis/Nebula, 3k. I really like the slow relationship development in this one, as they both learn how to be people that can be around other people.

Mantis/Nebula, 8k, where Nebula stays on the Guardians ship after GotG. Really sweet and quiet, and then there's cautious, exploratory first-time sex. Also features a broccoli soup recipe that I have made and can recommend, lol.
