This is incredible! I never know what to say about art *makes gestures like the Wizard in Holy Grail* the lines! The feelings! LOOK AT THE BONES, MAN!

Fictionalised story of a Japanese-American family who fought on both sides of WWII.

“Japanese Reflections on World War II and the American Occupation,” by Edgar and Ran Ying Porter

The compilers are not Japanese, but have put together the stories of their friends and neighbours in Oita Prefecture during and after WWII.

"Japan At War: An Oral History by Haruko Taya Cook and Theodore F. Cook

A huge and often contradictory collection of recollections of Japanese people involved in various ways in WWII.
