I suspect it's a little bit cheating to fill 2 and 4 both with Wintertide by Alexander James Adams and Heather Alexander (free to stream on Bandcamp), but only a little bit so I'm doing it 😺

Alec's version of "We Three Kings" is absolutely the best version there is. No question in my mind.

(The poetic story about Alec and Heather is, Alec is the mortal human who was replaced as a little boy with a Faerie changeling, and he returned to the mortal world as a grown man when the changeling in question, Heather, returned to Faerie—taking time to record this album together first. The prosaic story is, Alec recorded the higher-range parts of Wintertide before starting hormonal transition and the lower-range parts after his voice settled, with the effect that it sounds like the album was recorded as a duo.)

Ahh, this is so lovely! That's such a neat narrative approach to the album. I've got it up now to have a listen, and so far, its terrific. Thank you so much for sharing. What an excellent recommendation--just in time for Christmas Eve!
