WOW, these are gorgeous! I totally love the journal-style format and the way the cryptozoologist goes from a scientific mindset, skeptical and thinking the Bigfoot is a bear at first, to a more open, emotionally free one when the Bigfoot rescues her, helps to heal her broken leg and they get to know one another. A transition from being guarded to being open and vulnerable and tender. Such emotional and narrative shifts are my catnip! I love how sweet and gentle the Bigfoot is and the bond she and the human build together, for in the end they are two primates who love their world and they have more in common than they don't have.
